Lava is a porous volcanic rock. It allows water to drain while retaining some moisture, helping to balance conditions around plants. Uses include beds, rock gardens, drainage strips and, depending on the design, green roofs.
Grading, shape and colour determine the finished appearance. Calculate quantities from the area and intended layer depth or the volume to be filled. Bulk density and coverage figures are approximate. Suitable edging keeps the aggregate separate from planting and adjoining surfaces.
Pack options by enquiry: 25 or 40 kg sacks, a one-tonne bulk bag or loose material. Confirm availability and any packaging charges before ordering.
Listed packaging options: filled bulk bag €25 including VAT; Euro pallet €25 including VAT; one-way pallet €15 including VAT. Confirm your chosen packaging in the quotation.
