What does a travertine patio cost? A 30 m² example

A clear budget separates the stone, allowance, delivery and installation. This example uses catalogue prices dated 15 September 2026 and is not a current quotation.
Area and cutting allowance
A 6 × 5 m patio covers 30 m². An assumed 8% allowance adds 2.4 m², giving 32.4 m². Set the real allowance from the laying plan and cuts.

An example using pallet quantities
If a pallet contains 16.35 m², two pallets provide 32.70 m². This does not mean full pallets must always be ordered. At €53.90/m², rectangular slabs for 32.70 m² cost €1,762.53. At €52.90/m², the French-pattern set costs €1,729.83. The difference is €32.70.
What is outside this example
These dated catalogue prices include the catalogue VAT but exclude delivery. The final tax treatment for the destination is confirmed in the quotation. Budget separately for excavation, disposal, base layers, edging, drainage, joints and labour.
Compare the full scope
A lower price per square metre does not necessarily mean a cheaper completed patio. Compare the same area, allowance, delivery, unloading and installation scope. Check the current product price and your actual quotation.
Your next step
- Calculate the net area and required cuts.
- Confirm current pricing, packaging and delivery.
- Compare the complete budget including installation.
